Terms of Service

You may use Errata only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and bearer credentials, for activity under them, and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, probe it without permission, or use it to harm others.

Errata provides hardware evidence, provenance, and retrieval tooling to support engineering work. It does not replace professional judgment, qualification testing, safety review, or confirmation against current manufacturer documentation. You remain responsible for design, procurement, manufacturing, and safety decisions made using the service.

The service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued, including during beta operation. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

To the extent permitted by law, Errata is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Errata and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service.
